2025 Gani Festival: Okere of Sakiland Strengthens Ties with Ilesa-Baruba

 

The Okere of Sakiland, Oba Dr. Sur Khalid Oyeniyi Olabisi Oyedepo III, has strengthened ties with the Ilesa-Baruba community through his representation at the 2025 Gani Festival held in Ilesa-Baruba, Kwara State.

The monarch’s traditional chiefs, led by the Aganmu of Saki, HC Abdrasheed Kolawale Jayeola, attended the festival on his behalf. In a statement, the Okere expressed his delight in acknowledging the historical bond and relationships between the Ibaruba and Yoruba peoples.
