As the political landscape begins to take shape ahead of the 2027 general elections, Hon. Adebowale Steve Adeyoju (STEVO), a prominent aspirant for the Ibadan North Constituency II State Assembly seat, has reinforced his commitment to the “City Boy” movement.

Hon. Adeyoju, who serves as the Coordinator for City Boy in Ibadan North, led a delegation on a high-level courtesy visit to the Oyo State City Boy Coordinator, Chief Ajibola Hammed, and his executive members at the group’s state office in Ibadan.

The meeting served as a strategic platform to harmonize efforts within the All Progressives Congress (APC) support structures.Discussions centered primarily on developing robust grassroots mechanisms to garner overwhelming support for President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates across the board in the forthcoming 2027 polls.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Adeyoju emphasized that early mobilization is key to sustaining the “Renewed Hope” agenda. He noted that his dual role as an aspirant and a coordinator allows him to bridge the gap between policy advocacy and grassroots engagement.

”Our mission is clear: we must solidify the foundations we have built. By unifying our efforts under the City Boy umbrella, we ensure that the message of President Tinubu’s progress reaches every corner of Ibadan North and Oyo State at large,” Adeyoju stated.

In his response, Chief Ajibola Hammed commended Adeyoju’s proactive approach and dedication to the party’s growth. He urged the executives to maintain the momentum, noting that the City Boy movement remains a vital pillar in the APC’s strategy for a landslide victory in 2027.
