The Oke Ogun First Club Forum, a leading socio-cultural organisation in Oyo State, has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that only true sons and daughters of Oke Ogun receive its full support in the 2027 general elections.
This resolution was made during the forum’s monthly meeting, held in Saki on Saturday, October 25, 2025, with representatives from all ten local government areas that comprise the Oke Ogun zone in attendance.
In a firm declaration, the forum emphasized that its priority remains the advancement and empowerment of the indigenous people of Oke Ogun. It vowed to support only candidates who have demonstrated genuine dedication, loyalty, and tangible contributions to the region’s development.
“We will not settle for anything less than our fair share of representation and development,” said Barrister Bayo Toluwalase, Chairman of the Oke Ogun First Club Forum. “It is time for the people of Oke Ogun to take charge of their own destiny and chart a course toward sustainable growth and prosperity.”
The forum also highlighted its key developmental focus areas, including education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic empowerment, which it described as essential pillars for regional progress.
“We will support leaders who share our vision and are committed to delivering measurable results,” stated Prince Abdulfatai Adeyemi Olagbenro, Director of Media and Publicity of the forum. “We call on all sons and daughters of Oke Ogun to unite in this collective pursuit of genuine representation and meaningful development.”
The Oke Ogun First Club Forum reiterated that its movement transcends politics, stressing that the group’s overarching goal is to ensure fairness, equity, and inclusion for the Oke Ogun people in state and national affairs.
