The Convener of Oyo APC Peace Advocates, Prince Niran Adeyoju, SDM, has called on party faithfuls across the 33 Local Governments of Oyo state, to be calm and trust in the process of rebuilding the structures of the party which Oyo APC Peace Advocates and critical Stakeholders within the Party have committed themselves to.
In a release made available to newsmen on behalf of the Group, Prince Adeyoju, SDM said that the Peace Advocates are aware of the tension which has been building in the party in the past 48 hours.
He assured party faithfuls to ignore unhealthy rumors and refrain from making inflammatory comments against party Leaders and themselves.
He reminds members of the APC that our common enemy are the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the Action Democratic Congress, ADC and other opposition political parties’ within the state, who will never wish us to have peace and understanding within ourselves.
He emphasized that the task before us is enormous.
” We want to ensure that we record a higher number of votes for the president in 2027″.
We want to ensure that we deliver our three Senators just as we did in 2023 but this time around, we want to deliver the fourteen seats in the House of Representatives “.
” Above all, we want to reclaim the seat of the Governor at Agodi and ensure that all our 32 candidates for the House of Assembly are returned “.
” It is achievable but only when we work harder in unity, under a transparent process which is acceptable to all”, he said.
Prince Adeyoju reassured party faithfuls that the processes that will throw up candidates for all elective positions will not only be transparent, it will also involve the active participations of recognized party Leaders and critical Stakeholders.
He urge party members to eschew unnecessary distractions and anxiety, while also tasking them to continue sensitizing the public about the good work of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all our elected and appointed officials in Oyo state, who have been making the party proud.
