The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Saki East/ATISBO State Constituency, Hon. Alhaji Alliu Tajudeen Adetunji (JP), has expressed profound appreciation to former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, for donating a campaign bus to support his political aspiration ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Alliu, in an appreciation message, described the donation as a demonstration of confidence, solidarity and commitment to strengthening grassroots mobilisation within the party.
The presentation was made on behalf of Olaniyan by Alhaji Tajudeen Continental at his residence in Saki, Saki West Local Government Area of Oyo State, on Thursday, October 29, 2026.
The APC candidate was represented at the event by Hon. Lawal Rasheed, popularly known as Olori Ebi, in the presence of Yemi Afolabi and Taofeek Ajewole Azeez.
Adetunji said the gesture went beyond the provision of a vehicle, describing it as a significant contribution to the collective efforts to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures and advance its political objectives ahead of the forthcoming elections.
He also commended Continental for facilitating the presentation and acknowledged the support of those who attended the occasion.
The candidate assured Olaniyan that the vehicle would serve as an important resource for campaign coordination, wider engagement with constituents and grassroots mobilisation across Saki East and Atisbo.
He added that the donation had further inspired him to intensify his political engagements and pursue the aspirations of the people of the constituency with renewed commitment.
Alliu prayed for God’s continued blessings, good health and prosperity for Olaniyan, expressing gratitude for the former deputy governor’s confidence in his aspiration.
