The Aishat Aliyu Adeleke (A3) Foundation successfully hosted its inaugural Ramadan Lecture today, March 7, transforming the Oke Sunna area of Saki into a hub of spiritual reflection and community support.

Under the guidance of Chief Host Hajia Aishat Aliyu Adeleke, the event addressed the vital theme: “The Role of Women in Islam” (Ipa awon Obinrin ninu Islam). The Guest Lecturer, Prof. Alawiye Lukman Olateju captivated the audience with a deep dive into the intellectual and social contributions of women throughout Islamic history, challenging modern misconceptions and advocating for the continued empowerment of Muslim women through education and faiths.

The Chief Host, Hajia Adeleke, ensured the event was more than just a scholarly exchange. The A3 Foundation utilized the platform to provide tangible community support, including:Special gifts to senior citizens residing at the Oke Sunna Saki area, honoring their roles as community custodians.

In the spirit of the holy month, giveaway packages were also distributed to attendees to assist with Iftar preparations and the event showcased local talent through a spirited Quranic recitation contest, encouraging the youth to deepen their spiritual roots.
