A3 Foundation pays tribute to Oba Adeoye, condoles with Ofiki community

The Aliyu Adeleke Foundation has sent a heartfelt tribute to the family of the late Oba Sunday Oyadokun Adeoye, expressing condolences on behalf of Mrs. Aishat Aliyu Adeleke, the board of trustees, and the entire executive.

The Aliyu Adeleke Foundation recently paid tribute to the late Oba Sunday Oyadokun Adeoye, a revered monarch who left a lasting impact on his community.

Oba Adeoye was born on July 27, 1947, in Ofiki to Late Pa Prince Elisha Adeoye and Late Madam Grace Fakeye Adeoye of the Oloto Royal Family. He attended Baptist Day School, Ofiki, from 1955 to 1960, and later proceeded to Secondary Modern School, Saki, from 1962 to 1964.

Oba Adeoye had a distinguished military career, marked by his service as an Auxiliary Tax Collector at Saki District Council in 1965. He enlisted in the Nigeria Army Signals between 1968 and 1969 and later attended One Div Nigerian Army in Kaduna, where he obtained Army Certificate Education (ACE 1). He served as an instructor at School Signals from 1978 to 1979 and as Chief Instructor with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in 1984.

Oba Adeoye’s legacy extends beyond his military service. He was a respected leader who contributed significantly to his community. The Aliyu Adeleke Foundation’s tribute is a testament to his enduring impact.
