Adekunle Urges Saki West Citizens to Prioritize Unity, Good Governance

As Nigeria celebrates its 65th Independence Anniversary, Hon. Adekunle Tunji Rafiu, Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Pensions Board, has called on citizens of Saki West Local Government to prioritize unity, good governance, and development.

In his Independence Day message, Rafiu said, “Let’s shine our eyes properly!” emphasizing the need for collective effort to build a brighter future for Saki West.

Rafiu highlighted key issues that Nigerians must address, including the importance of visionary leadership, robust political culture, and transcending religious divides. He urged citizens to demand good governance and support capable individuals who can drive progress.

“Choose representatives based on merit, not popularity,” Rafiu advised, adding that “politics should transcend religious divides.”
