Barr. Akeem Agbaje, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has reaffirmed his commitment to the development of the Eleyele Muslim Community and the larger Eleyele area as he commissioned the newly built Eleyele Health Center Central Masjid (ELHECCEM), Babalegba, Eleyele, Ibadan during the 1446AH Ramadan lectures.
The Ramadan lecture series, themed “Overcoming Economic Challenges & Staying on the Path of Righteousness,” was jointly organized by Balqis M.IN/P School, Eleyele, and the Eleyele Muslim Community. The event featured Alh. Sheikh Ridwanullahi Majeobaje as the guest lecturer, who emphasized the need for resilience and faith in overcoming economic hardships.

Speaking at the commissioning, Barr. Agbaje commended the Alabi family for their significant contributions to the Muslim community and the broader Eleyele community. He described the completion of the Masjid as a vital step towards enhancing religious and social cohesion in the area.
“The commissioning of this Masjid is not just a milestone for the Muslim faithful but a symbol of unity and progress for the entire Eleyele community. The Alabi family has demonstrated commendable generosity, and I acknowledge their unwavering dedication to communal growth,” Agbaje stated.
Reiterating his support for the community, Barr. Agbaje assured the Eleyele Muslim Community of his continued assistance in, emphasizing the importance of infrastructural projects that serve the well-being of the people.
