ARSPON, Oyo Zone is set to host another free surgical Outreach organised by the Oyo State Chapter of Association of Rural Surgical Practitioners of Nigeria (ARSPON).
This 3-day event will be held at Momoh Memorial Hospital, Idi Ope, Oyo town between Friday, 17th to Sunday, 19th of October, 2025.
The event will feature free Hernia and Lumps surgeries to indigent individuals in Oyo town and its environs .
The program will also include Medical Discussions and Presentations on contemporary issues such as the roles of Electronic Medical Records in Rural Surgical Practice, Research Methodology, and the use of Modern Technological innovation in Rural Healthcare Practices. Other topic slated for discussion include how the new Tax Laws will affect Rural Medical Practices among others.
Other features of the Surgical Outreach are Medical Consultations and Hands-on Surgical Training for registered Medical Doctors.
