Barr. Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and 2027 gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State, was among prominent personalities who attended the second coronation anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Sefiu Olawale Oyebola, Adeyari III, Ajirotutu I, the Aseyin of Iseyin.
The colourful ceremony, which held in Iseyin, attracted an array of dignitaries from across the country, including royal fathers, political leaders, captains of industry, professionals, and respected figures from diverse fields of endeavour, making it a gathering of notable individuals from all walks of life.
Barr. Akeem Agbaje, who attended as a special guest, joined others in celebrating two years of purposeful, peaceful, and people-oriented reign of the Aseyin of Iseyin. His presence at the ceremony further reflected his reputation as an Omoluabi, whose conduct, values, and consistent engagement have earned him wide acceptance and goodwill across Oyo State.
The coronation anniversary provided an opportunity to reflect on the monarch’s leadership, commitment to cultural preservation, and efforts at promoting unity, development, and harmony within Iseyinland and the wider Oyo Kingdom.
Royal fathers from within and outside Oyo State graced the occasion, lending traditional colour and dignity to the celebration, while paying homage to the Aseyin for his stewardship and contributions to the stability and progress of his domain.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, the distinguished son of Agbaje l’ayeye, described Oba Oyebola as a royal father whose reign continues to inspire confidence, foster peace, and strengthen communal bonds. He noted that the monarch’s inclusive leadership style has endeared him to his people and earned him respect beyond the borders of the state.
He congratulated the Aseyin, Oba (Dr) Sefiu Olawale Oyebola, Adeyari III, Ajirotutu I, on the milestone and prayed for continued wisdom, sound health, and divine guidance for the monarch as he leads his people.
