Ayobami Ojo urges teachers to set up performance,says Makinde is committed to education 

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Oyo State, Ayobami Ojo,Esq., has charged teachers across the nation to be more committed to their duties with a view to revamping the education sector.

Addressing ITV Online at a PDP Teacher’s Forum in Ago-Are, ATISBO LGA, ojo emphasized the significant role teachers play in shaping the future of the nation,stressing that their performance has a direct impact on the quality of education.

He noted that despite the significant strides made in the education sector, there is still much to be done to address the challenges facing the industry, identified teacher apathy, lack of motivation, and some of the major obstacles hindering the progress of education in Nigeria.

Ojo, therefore, urged teachers to be more proactive and innovative in their approach to teaching, emphasizing the need for them to stay updated with modern teaching methods and technologies.

He also assured that Makinde led administration is committed to supporting the education sector through recruitment and wellness activities of the teachers.

He, however, charged the students to take their studies seriously.

In a heartwarming display of generosity, the PDP chieftain, Hon. Ojo donated a sum of ₦500,000 to support the teachers.

The teachers, who were visibly moved by the generosity, thanked him for his support. The Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) in the area, praised him for his commitment to education and his support for teachers.

Ayobami Ojo has been a strong advocate for improved funding for teachers and has supported several initiatives aimed at empowering the people of the area.
