Barr Akeem Agbaje Commiserates With Ex-Deputy Governor Over Mother’s Death

Barr. Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State and a 2027 gubernatorial aspirant, has commiserated with elder statesman and former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Iyiola Oladokun, over the passing of his mother, Chief Mrs Alice Idowu Oladokun, who died at the age of 101.

In a condolence message, Barr. Agbaje described the late Chief Mrs Oladokun as a venerable matriarch whose long life was marked by dignity, strength of character, and deep family values, noting that her impact would continue to resonate through generations.

He acknowledged the profound sense of loss felt by Barr. Oladokun and the entire Oladokun family, stating that the death of a mother, regardless of age, leaves an irreplaceable void.

“Chief Mrs Alice Idowu Oladokun lived a remarkably full life and was clearly a source of guidance, comfort, and inspiration to her children and all who came in contact with her.”

He added that her longevity was a testament to a life lived with purpose and grace, and urged the family to find solace in the legacy of values she upheld and passed on.

“I pray that Almighty God grants Mama Alice Idowu Oladokun eternal rest, forgives her shortcomings, and admits her into His everlasting peace.”
