Barr Akeem Agbaje Joins Clergy and Faithful to Honour Apostle Dr. Solomon Alao at C&S Unification Church Ceremony

Barr. Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and 2027 gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State, was among distinguished guests at the 30th anniversary celebration as Supreme Superintendent and retirement ceremony as Supreme Head of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria of His Most Eminence, The Most Elder Apostle (Prophet) Dr. Solomon Adegoyega Alao (JP).

The historic event, which also marked ten years of meritorious service by the revered cleric as Supreme Head of the church, took place at the Sacred C&S National Secretariat Headquarters, Ashi Road, Ibadan, Oyo State, drawing clerics, traditional rulers, church leaders, and faithful from across the country.

Barr. Akeem Agbaje attended the ceremony as a special guest, joining other dignitaries in celebrating a lifetime of service, sacrifice, and spiritual leadership exemplified by Apostle Dr. Alao over several decades of ministry. His presence at the occasion further reflected the broad goodwill, acceptance, and close relationships he enjoys across Christian, Muslim, and traditional faith communities in Oyo State and beyond.

The occasion was chaired by the Primate and Baba Aladura, Gen. Sup. Ap. S. K. Onafowokan, OON (JP), the Asiwaju of Remo Kingdom, who commended the retiring Supreme Head for his steadfast commitment to unity, discipline, and spiritual growth within the Cherubim and Seraphim movement.

The Eleruwa of Eruwa, Oba Samuel Adegbola, who is also the Deputy Chairman of the Oyo State Council of Obas, served as the Royal Father of the Day, lending royal grace and traditional support to the spiritually significant gathering.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Barr. Akeem Agbaje described His Eminence, Apostle Dr. Alao as a symbol of humility, devotion, and selfless service to God and humanity, noting that his years of leadership have strengthened the church and positively influenced countless faithful across generations.

He congratulated the celebrant on the successful completion of his tenure and prayed that God grants him continued peace, strength, and fulfillment in retirement, while also wishing the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church sustained unity and spiritual advancement.

The ceremony featured prayers, tributes, and thanksgiving sessions, marking a fitting celebration of a cleric whose leadership has left an enduring imprint on the church and the wider Christian community in Nigeria.
