A grand Royal Wedding ceremony took place yesterday at the palace of the Okere of Sakiland, Oba Dr Surv. Khalid Oyeniyi Olabisi Oyedepo III, as his daughter, PRINCESS (Dr) NAFISAT OLABISI, married PRINCE Dr OLUWATOBI ADENIJI.
The event drew a galaxy of dignitaries, including Senator Fatai Buhari, lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Engr. Abuljelyl Karheem Mogaji Adanla, Managing Director of Afia Court and Afia Apartment, and Alh. Ismail Ayiki, Chief Executive Officer of Ayiki Ola Oil and Gas, among other prominent guests from across Nigeria.
The wedding ceremony of PRINCESS (Dr) NAFISAT OLABISI and PRINCE Dr OLUWATOBI ADENIJI was solemnized by the Grand Chief Imam of Saki, Sheikh Abdazeez Jejekunmi, in accordance with Islamic principles.
The ceremony, which took place at the palace,unfolded seamlessly, with the Imam guiding the proceedings in line with Islamic traditions.
He urged the newly wedded couple who stay outside the country to promote peace in their matrimonial home ,emphasizing the sanctity of marriage as a worship to Allah (SWT) and a commitment to the traditions of the Holy Prophet (SAW).
A host of dignitaries, including government officials, Imams, and Alfas, converged on the palace of the Okere of Sakiland,Oba Oyedepo III, to celebrate the wedding of his daughter, PRINCESS (Dr) NAFISAT OLABISI, to PRINCE Dr OLUWATOBI ADENIJI.
Among those in attendance were Royal family members, Arowojeka family members, Saki Parapo, Saki Club 85, Eminent Club of Nigeria (Okeogun), and members of DE-Zenate Club (Lagos). Well-wishers and other distinguished guests also traveled from far and wide to join in the celebration.
He expressed his gratitude to guests who attended his daughter’s wedding, specifically thanking Senator Buhari Abdfatai and Engr. Abuljelyl Karheem Mogaji Adanla for their presence.
“My gratitude goes to Royal family members, Arowojeka family members, Saki Parapo, Saki Club 85, Eminent Club of Nigeria(Okeogun), members of DE-Zenate Club(Lagos), and all dignitaries who traveled from near and far.”
The Okere prayed for God’s blessings on the union, stating, “I pray to God Almighty to bless the union.”
