Buhari,Akintunde,Alli Pay Courtesy Visit to Olubadan Designate

Distinguished Senator Buhari AbdulFatai, PhD, paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan designate, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rasheed Ladoja, Arusa 1, at his Bodija residence in Ibadan earlier today.

The visit was to congratulate the Olubadan designate on his ascension to the throne, reaffirming the strong bond between the senator and the monarch. During the visit, Senator AbdulFatai expressed his well-wishes to the Olubadan designate, praying for his long life, wisdom, and good health to lead Ibadan and its environs to greater heights.

In a related development, Senator Yunus Akintunde, representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, alongside Distinguished Senator Abdulfatai Buhari and Senator Sarafadeen Alli. This visit was part of the preparations for Oba Ladoja’s coronation as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, scheduled for September 26, 2025.

During the visit, Senator Akintunde commended Oba Ladoja for his exceptional statesmanship, leadership, and contributions to Ibadan and Oyo State’s growth. He emphasized that the coronation would be a historic moment not only for Ibadan but also for the Yoruba nation, highlighting the significance of the Olubadan institution as one of Nigeria’s most revered traditional stools.
