College of Nursing Sciences Muslim Medical Foundation Saki (CONSMMEFS) lays foundation for State-of-the-art hostel

On Thursday, September 11, 2025, the College of Nursing Sciences Muslim Medical Foundation Saki celebrated a significant milestone with the Foundation Laying Ceremony for a Modern Female Hostel. The ceremony was graced by prominent stakeholders, including the Grand Chief Imam of Saki, Sheikh Abdazeez Jejekunmi, who led a prayer session to seek divine blessings for the project’s success.

The Chairman of the Governing Council of the College,Alh. Ismail Yusuff, remarked that the hostel accommodation facilities are being provided due to the increasing number of students, aiming to cater to their growing needs.

The Provost, Alhaja Lateefat Gbadamosi Sanni, noted that the hostel project marks a significant milestone as it is the first to be financed and executed by the College Governing Council.

Alh. Moshood Akinwunmi Awidere Chairman Baytul Mal who was unavoidably absent was represented by Alh Prince AbdFatai Olayiwola Ekutakoro, expressed gratitude to the Governing Council and College Management for their efforts in developing the Institution. He specifically appreciated individuals who have contributed significantly to the college’s growth through various projects.

He reaffirmed his commitment of Baytul Mal to supporting the entire Muslim community and the college, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts in advancing education.

The new hostel is expected to enhance the learning experience and provide better accommodation facilities for students, showcasing the institution’s commitment to quality education and students’ welfare. This development will definitely shape the future of nursing education in the area, providing students with a conducive environment to thrive academically and personally.

Engr. Yunus Gbadamosi (Himus), The Chairman Muslim Community Saki, who is also The Project Engineer,thanked individuals and groups who have contributed to the development of the college. These include Alh. Muda Olowolagba, The Adeleke Family, The Late Alh Tijani Afolabi, Alh Najeem Adeleke, Barr Kunle Adeleke Esq. Alh Rasheed GASMA, Barr (Dr) Musa Abdulwasi, Alh Moshood Master, Engr Sarafadeen Omirinde, Alh Salahudeen Thiamiy, IPMAN Saki Chapter, and many others.

Engr Himus, disclosed that the new hostel project is a 2-storey building ,assuring that quality work would be prioritized and promised timely completion of the project.

He said the Construction of the hostel has commenced immediately, with a projected timeline for completion.

Dr. Nurudeen Jeje Balogun (YaNuralahi) led the prayer session on behalf of the Chief Imam.

The Chief Imam who was represented by Alh Abdurrahman Titilope laid the foundation for the new hostel, offered heartfelt prayers for the project’s successful completion.
Other Governing Council members of the College in attendance include Alh AbdFatai Olayiwola, Mallam Muhibullah Adebimpe, Dr Adetola Abdulrahman and Mrs Fasilat Abdulfatai ( CNO Muslim Hospital)
Other Stakeholders, including the College administrators, faculty members and students, were also in attendance, showcasing communal support for the project.

Other notable individuals who graced the event include Alh. Fatai Olayiwola, Alh. Bashir Ajagbe Ado ( Baba Nigeria), Alh.Jubril Musa Agbarigidoma, Engr. Alh. Sarafadeen Omirinde, Alh. Abdrasaq Jeje (Orator), and several others.
