A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Busari Busari Adewale Yakub, popularly known as Donbay, has congratulated Muslims on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitri, marking the end of Ramadan.
In a Sallah message issued on Wednesday, Donbay called on the Muslim Ummah to uphold the spiritual lessons acquired during the holy month.
“I urge my Muslim faithful to continue to live by the values of kindness, love, fairness, and self-denial cultivated during Ramadan,” he said.
He also appealed to Nigerians across religious lines to use the occasion to pray for the country amid its current challenges.
“This is a time for sober reflection and supplication. I encourage all Nigerians, regardless of faith, to offer prayers for peace, unity, and progress in our nation,” Donbay added.
The APC chieftain emphasized the importance of sustained devotion to prayer and righteous living, noting that these principles are key to both personal growth and national harmony.
“I also encourage my constituents to channel the goodwill and blessings of Ramadan towards fostering peace, unity, and development in Nigeria,” he stated.
