Former Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Eng. Rauf Aderemi Olaniyan has congratulated Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda on his emergence as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Eng. Olaniyan’s message was contained in a press release made available to newsmen on Thursday.
Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, is the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and APC gubernatorial candidate for Plateau state in 2023.
His appointment was made public today, after the National Executive Committee , NEC, of the APC confirmed his nomination.
He is expected to serve until December 31, 2025, after the NEC had approved the extension of the tenure of the current Executives of the APC from the ward to the National levels.
Eng. Olaniyan wishes the National Chairman a successful tenure while also praying that Almighty Allah shall grant him the wisdom to successfully navigate through the challenges ahead.
Similarly, Eng. Olaniyan congratulated the Oyo state Chairman of the APC, Alhaji Olayide Moshood Abass on the extension of his tenure as the Chairman of Oyo APC.
He described Alhaji Olayide Abass as a principled man, whose integrity is not in doubt.
” I believe that it has pleased Almighty Allah to elongate the tenure of Alhaji Olayide Moshood Abass in the interests of Oyo APC and Oyo state in general.”
Eng. Olaniyan prayed that the State Chairman will continue to grow in strength and wisdom, while also calling on Stakeholders within Oyo APC to rally round the Alhaji Olayide Abass led Executives so that the Party can reclaim the Agodi Government House from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in 2027.
