Fmr. ITESIWAJU LG chairman,Niyi Adeagbo calls for peace as Muslims celebrate 2025 Eid-al-Fitr

As Muslims worldwide celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, a former Chairman of ITESIWAJU LGA,Hon. Niyi Adeagbo, has urged Nigerians to embrace peace, unity, and progress.

In a goodwill message, Adeagbo reflected on the significance of Ramadan, emphasizing the importance of piety, self-discipline, love, and service to humanity.

He prayed for divine wisdom and guidance for those in government particularly, those from Okeogun area and Oyo State in general,seeking renewed hope, progress, and prosperity for Nigerians.

While emphasizing the importance of upholding virtues like patience, kindness, and compassion, fostering peace and unity in communities, Adeagbo encouraged Muslims to express gratitude for the blessings of Ramadan and to pray for Allah’s acceptance of their fasts, prayers, and good deeds.

The statement reads:

Eid Mubarak to the Great People of Nigeria, Oyo State, Okeogun, and Itesiwaju!

As we mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan, let us reflect on its true essence—piety, self-discipline, love, and service to humanity. Ramadan teaches us patience, kindness, and the importance of looking after one another. May we continue to uphold these virtues in our daily lives, fostering peace, unity, and compassion in our communities.

To our leaders in government, we pray for divine wisdom and guidance as they navigate these challenging times. May their efforts toward renewed hope for our people be crowned with success, bringing progress and prosperity to all.
