For the third time, Rep. Kareem Tajudeen awards scholarship to scores of students

Hon. Tajudeen Abisodun, the federal lawmaker representing Atisbo, Saki East, and Saki West, has once again demonstrated his commitment to education by empowering students through his annual scholarship scheme. This is the third consecutive phase of the initiative, impacting many indigent students in the constituency.

Represented by Alhaji Thabit Olofa, Hon. Abisodun said his motivation for sustaining the scholarship programme stems from his belief that education is key to community transformation. “Education is the most sustainable tool for community transformation,” he said, emphasizing that his vision is to ensure no student’s ambition is cut short due to financial constraints.

Olofa revealed that Hon. Abisodun has supported individuals and community projects over the years, including donations of cars, Hajj sponsorships, and empowerment schemes. The gesture was widely applauded as a testament to his support for local institutions and development-oriented communication in Oke-Ogun.

Speaking at the event, Alh. Tajudeen Okunlola, APC Chairman in Saki West, lauded Hon. Abisodun’s dedication to his people’s welfare, noting that his initiatives have brought tangible improvements to countless lives. Hon. Salaudeen Akeem, APC Chairman in Saki East, described him as a dependable pillar of progress.

Beneficiaries unanimously, described the scholarship as a “great bridge to success”.
