A group of former Local Government Chairmen and political functionaries have pledged their support for Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola, popularly known as Hallelujah, following his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The declaration was made at the meeting held in Ogboro, Saki East LGA of Oyo State, on Thursday, October 16, 2025, where a group of former Local Government Chairmen and political functionaries pledged their support for Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola, popularly known as Hallelujah.
They expressed their solidarity and unwavering support for Senator Agboola, dismissing rumors of his affiliation with any other political party.
The meeting was attended by several notable former LG chairmen and political functionaries, including Hon. Oyinloye Jelili Adebare, Hon. Abilawon Mufutau Osuolale, Engnr. Omirinde Safareen Ahmed, Hon. Fatokun Emmanuel Ajetola, Hon. (Alhaja) Adeniran Rahmat Mosunmade, Hon. Oyediran Gideon Bolanle, Hon. Akintola Ojo Bolaji, Pastor (Dr.) Oyedokun Joel, Hon. Ogunleke Timothy Olugbade, Hon. Adeagbo Fasasi Ademola (Amifas), Hon. Afolabi Salimon Adebayo, Hon. Raheem Akeem Adepoju, Hon. Badmus Mutiu Adesoji, and Hon. Prince Atoyeebi Ebenezer Durodola.
Speaking on the development, they unanimously reaffirmed their commitment to Senator Agboola’s vision for Oyo State and pledged to work together to achieve genuine development and people-oriented governance.
