Governor AbdulRazaq Sustains Construction Work on Multi-Storey Oluremi Tinubu Hospital

The Kwara State Government under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has remained committed to completing the multi-storey Oluremi Tinubu Hospital, as contractors continue work on the project in line with approved standards.

Named after Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the facility is being developed by the AbdulRazaq administration to strengthen tertiary healthcare infrastructure in Kwara and support federal efforts to enhance medical services nationwide.

During an inspection visit in August, Governor AbdulRazaq restated his administration’s focus on public good through investments in health, education, agriculture, and the digital economy. He also appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s support for sub-national development programmes.

Over the past six years, the administration has made significant investments in the health sector, including constructing, renovating, and upgrading hospitals, supplying modern medical equipment, and installing solar power systems across healthcare facilities in the state.

When completed, the Oluremi Tinubu Hospital is expected to expand access to advanced healthcare services, reduce pressure on existing hospitals, and enhance emergency and critical-care response.
