Hope Rises in Ido as Prince Nureni Adesina Salam Declares 2027 Ambition

Ido Town, the administrative headquarters of Ido Local Government Area, was set abuzz with excitement and political fervour on Saturday, 21st March 2026, as Hon. Prince Nureni Adesina Salam (NAS) officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Member representing Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency in the 2027 General Elections under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The historic event took place at Community Secondary School, Ido, which witnessed a massive turnout of party faithful and supporters.

The declaration ceremony turned into a grand convergence of political heavyweights, party faithful, and supporters, truly reflecting a “who-is-who” gathering within the constituency. The presence of state executives further underscored the significance of the occasion, as leaders and stakeholders from both Ido and Ibarapa East Local Government Areas came out in large numbers to grace the event.

Party Chairmen, Local Government Executives, and Ward Executives were all fully represented, demonstrating strong unity and overwhelming support for the aspiration of Hon. Prince Salam. In his welcome address, the APC Chairman in Ido Local Government, Hon. Muili Lakondoro, speaking on behalf of his counterpart in Ibarapa East, Hon. The Oyo State APC Chairman, His Excellency Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo, who was ably represented by the Oyo South Senatorial Chairman, Hon.
