A strategic stakeholders’ meeting involving Sharafadeen Alli and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently ongoing in Saki, as political consultations ahead of the next governorship race gather momentum.
The meeting forms part of Alli’s expanding statewide engagement, widely viewed as a precursor to his anticipated declaration for the Oyo State governorship. The senator, who has been actively consulting across key political blocs, recently intensified outreach efforts in Ogbomoso and Oyo federal constituencies to strengthen internal party cohesion and secure grassroots backing.
In attendance at the ongoing meeting are prominent APC stakeholders, including Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun, as well as ward executives, youth leaders, and party faithful drawn from Saki West, Saki East, and Atisbo federal constituency. The gathering is said to be focused on consolidating party structures in the Oke-Ogun axis, a critical voting bloc in Oyo State politics.
Alli arrived at the meeting accompanied by a delegation of political allies, including Akinyemi Akinlabi, Dauda Abiola, Johnson Ayanleke, Tunji Olanipekun, and Bayo Aderounmu, among others.
The meeting indicates that discussions, are centered on party unity, mobilization strategies, and strengthening internal alliances ahead of the electoral cycle.
