A galaxy of dignitaries, including traditional rulers, religious leaders, and loved ones, converged at Baptist Primary School Otu for the one-year memorial service of late Chief Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu. The solemn occasion was a poignant tribute to his remarkable legacy.
Tributes poured in from notable figures, including Chief Mrs. Hannah Wumi Ogunesan, Rev. Dr. Julius Oladele Eegunsola, Chief Johnson Bayo Kehinde, Alhaji Olanite Tajudeen, and Barrister Leke Oladeji, who celebrated Late Chief Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu’s exceptional character, philanthropy, and leadership.They highlighted his remarkable attributes, generosity, and statesmanship.
Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu was born in 1963 in Otu,ITESIWAJU LGA, Oyo State to the family of late PA Emmanuel Oyetunji and Mama Sarah Farike Omodewu .He served as Chairman, APC, Oyo State.
The guests, who paid tribute to the late Chief Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, described his demise as a huge loss to the Otu community and the APC. They prayed for the repose of his soul. Chief Bayo Kehinde noted the Omodewu family’s pivotal role in advancing education in Otu and the Oke Ogun region, calling on APC members to continue his legacy.
Other notable figures, including Hon. Segun Oyewole, Salami Waheed Adeyemi, Chief Ojelowo Taiwo Thomas, and Mr. Joseph Kolapo Omodewu, commended the late leader’s exemplary leadership style, character, and contributions to the APC and the community, saying his impact would be sorely missed.
Chief Bayo Kehinde urged APC members who were close to Late Omodewu to build on the foundation he laid. In their tributes, APC leaders and community dignitaries, including Hon. Segun Oyewole, Salami Waheed Adeyemi, Chief Ojelowo Taiwo Thomas, and Mr. Joseph Kolapo Omodewu, praised the late leader’s exemplary leadership style, character, and contributions to the APC and the community. They noted that his enduring legacy and impact would continue to resonate, even after his passing.
The dignitaries encouraged political leaders to draw inspiration from Late Chief Omodewu’s remarkable life and selfless service, describing him as a leader of high integrity. The occasion also featured the award of educational grants to exceptional students through the Omodewu Foundation.
