Mufti of Saki loses brother, Muhydeen Ashimi ( See Burial arrangement)

The Islamic community is in mourning following the passing of a brother of the Mufti of Saki Saki Saki and renowned scholar and philanthropist, Sheikh Muhyideen Ashimi, on 8th Shawwal, 1446 A.H., corresponding to 6th April, 2025.

Sheikh Ashimi, a respected figure in Islamic scholarship and charitable work, dedicated his life to spreading knowledge and promoting human development in Nigeria and beyond. His contributions to the Islamic community and society at large have been significant, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations.

The Janazah (burial) took place in his country home, Saki, on 7th April, 2025, where family, friends, and well-wishers would gather to pay their last respect.

The family, in a statement, expressed their gratitude to Almighty Allah and prayed for the deceased to be granted Aljannah Firdaus as his final abode. They also sought strength for themselves and loved ones to cope with the loss.

Sheikh Muhyideen Ashimi’s impact on the Islamic community and beyond will be remembered for years to come. His dedication to knowledge, charitable acts, and human development has left a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire and motivate others.

May Almighty Allah grant him eternal peace and bless his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
