MURIC, Saki branch condemns fake miracles and deliverance in christian school

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), Saki Branch, strongly condemns the disturbing video footage of Muslim students undergoing fake miracles and deliverance in a Christian school in Saki, Oyo State.

This incident is a blatant disregard for the religious rights and sensitivities of Muslim students. The school’s actions are a clear violation of the fundamental human rights of the Muslim students subjected to this unprofessional spiritual examination and diagnosis.

We demand immediate action from the school management and call for:

  1. A thorough investigation into the incident
  2. A written apology within 24 hours, addressed to the Muslim Community in Saki and copied to the Chairman of MURIC, Saki Branch. Failure to comply will result in legal action.
  3. An undertaking to prevent similar incidents in the future
  4. Protection for Muslim students from coercion or forced conversion

We urge the Muslim Community Council to take note of this incident and work with us to protect the rights of Muslim students.

As the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, “Whomever sees an abnormality amongst you should change it with his hands…” We will not stand idly by while our children are subjected to religious exploitation.

-(Alh.) Comrade Khalid Ajibade
Chairman,
MURIC,
Saki Branch
