Niyi Adebisi Commissions Ultra-Modern Theatre at State Specialist Hospital, Saki

The State Specialist Hospital in Saki, Oyo State, was abuzz with excitement on Friday, October 17, 2025, as Hon. Adeniyi Adebisi, Commissioner for Trade, Commerce, and Investment, commissioned an ultra-modern theatre at the facility. The event was a commemoration of the one-year remembrance of the late Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleosho, a former Secretary to the Oyo State Government.

The renovated theatre, equipped with world-class surgical equipment, is a testament to Hon. Adebisi’s commitment to serving the people. The Okere of Saki, Oba Khalid Olabisi Ilugbemidepo, represented by his chiefs, expressed gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for entrusting Hon. Adebisi with this responsibility.

As part of the commemoration, 1,000 residents across Oke-Ogun received free health insurance certificates at the State Hospital, Saki. This initiative, organized by Hon. Adebisi, is a continuation of the late Chief Koleosho’s legacy.

The event drew notable dignitaries, including the executive of Saki Parapo, Dr. Yemi Koleosho, Hon. Mudasiru Eruobodo, and Engr. Muritala Ilyas Okikiola, among others.

The ultra-modern theatre, named after Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleosho, is a lasting legacy to his contributions to Oke-Ogun’s development. Hon. Adebisi’s efforts have been praised for immortalizing the late statesman.

The Oyo State Health Insurance Agency (OYSHIA) also played a key role in the event, registering new beneficiaries under the state’s health insurance scheme.

The commissioning of the ultra-modern theatre marks a significant milestone in the healthcare sector of Oyo State, and we look forward to seeing more impactful projects in the future.
