The Okere of Saki,Oba Khalid Olabisi, joined distinguished traditional rulers and top government officials on Thursday for the 12th Omituntun Annual Ramadan Public Lecture held at Agodi Gate, Ibadan.
The event,chaired by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, featured a soul-stirring lecture on “Contentment” by renowned scholar Sheikh Jamiu Ajadi Sanusi (Ami Olohun).
In a statement made available to this Newspaper by the Palace Media Directorate, Oba Olabisi lauded Governor ‘Seyi Makinde for his God-fearing approach to governance and his consistent support for the Muslim Ummah.
The ceremony, which also saw the Governor donate vehicles to mosques and the guest lecturer, was attended by the League of Imams and Alfas, Service Commanders, and members of the State Executive Council.
