Okere hails Adelabu on the delivery of new transformer to the Saki Substation

The Saki community and its environs have welcomed a significant development with the delivery of a 132/33KV 1/60MBA Transformer to the Saki Substation. The transformer, delivered on August 4, 2025, is expected to address the longstanding power challenges in the area.

The Okere of Sakiland, Oba Dr. Sur Khalid Oyeniyi Olabisi Oyedepo III, has expressed gratitude to the Minister of Power, Hon. Adebayo Adelabu, for facilitating the delivery of the transformer.

In a statement, the monarch congratulated the people of Saki and its environs, highlighting the potential impact of stable power supply on the community’s economic and social development.

According to him,the delivery of the transformer is expected to bring numerous benefits to the community, including improve power supply, boosted economic growth,enhanced business productivity and increased access to basic amenities

Residents of Saki and its environs have welcomed this development with enthusiasm. “This is a major breakthrough for our community,” said a local resident.
