When we carefully examined the lifetime of our distinguished Late Michael Adeniyi Koleosho, we have cause to praise God for making it possible for him to live a fuilfilled life.
Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleosho was a respected Nigerian politician and leader, widely regarded for his dedication to public service and his role in bridging traditional political values with modern governance.

Chief Koleosho’s commitment to good governance and his role as a stabilizing force in Nigerian politics earned him the admiration of many. He was also a community leader in Oke-Ogun, Oyo State, contributing to the development of the region and ensuring that his political service positively impacted the lives of the people.
As a successful business man, His Royal Majesty Late Oba Tijani Abimbola Oyedokun, the then Okere of Saki land conffered chieftaincy title of Babalaje of Saki on the deceased, the title he jealously guarded till the end.

He served as the Secretary to the Oyo State Government (SSG) during the administration of the late Governor Lam Adesina, where he played a pivotal role in the state’s administration. Known for his integrity and straightforward approach to politics, Koleosho was also the Chairman of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) and later the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN). His influence extended beyond his political roles, as he was a mentor to many younger politicians, advocating that politics should be a platform for service, not personal enrichment.

Late Chief Michael Koleosho was so passionate about the development of Oke Ogun region of Oyo State, a situation which culminated in his recognition as a political leader in Oke Ogun area of the state.

We,at this juncture commend His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State for re-naming The Oke Ogun Polythecnic, Saki as Michael Adeniyi Kokeosho Polytechnic (MAKPOLY), Saki. The decision of Oyo State Government confirmed the confidence reposed on the deceased.

Though Chief Michael Koleosho is no longer with us, his legacy will continue to inspire future generations. His vision, leadership, and dedication to the right cause will remain a guiding light.
It is our fervent belief that God’s grace and favour will manifest in the family he left behind, his elites friends, traditional rulers and all his political associates. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and loved ones during this difficult time. May Chief Adeniyi Koleosho soul rest in eternal peace.
