The paramount ruler of Saki Land, HRM Oba De. Surv. Khalid Olabisi Ayinla Ado Ilugbemidepo, has extended warm congratulations to Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade on his coronation as the 46th Alaafin of Oyo.
In a heartfelt message, the Okere of Saki wished the new monarch wisdom, peace, and prosperity during his reign.

Oba Owoade began his 21-day traditional seclusion period, “Oro Ipebi”, on March 7, 2025, which ended with his coronation on April 5, 2025.

As the Alaafin of Oyo, he’s expected to uphold Yoruba traditions while bringing a modern perspective to the throne .
