Okere Urges Citizens to Cooperate with FRSC on Road Safety

The Okere of Sakiland, Oba Dr Sur Khalid Oyeniyi Olabisi Oyedepo III, has praised the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) for their tireless efforts to reduce road accidents and promote safe driving practices in the region.

In a statement issued on Thursday, November 13, 2025, the monarch said, “I commend the Federal Road Safety Corps for their unwavering commitment to enforcing traffic laws and regulations.”

The Okere made the commendation during a courtesy visit by the Unit Commander of the FRSC’s Saki Unit Command, ACC Taofeeq A. Adegoke, to his palace.

ACC Adegoke had assured the Okere of the Corps’ dedication to reorienting citizens on road safety and sought facilities to bolster their operations.

The monarch urged all road users and citizens to cooperate with the agency, saying, “Together, we can make Sakiland a safer place for all.”

The Okere emphasized the importance of obeying traffic laws and exercising caution, especially during festive periods, to prevent accidents and ensure public safety.
