All is now set for the commemoration of Ojude Oba festival in the ancient town of Baasi ,Atisbo local government area of Oyo State tagged Tobalase 1.
The epoch event slated for Friday 27th , December 2024 holds under the auspices of the Onibaasi of Baasi Oba Dr Sunday Azeez Babatunde Asunmo Modele by 11am.
The colourful celebration according to the release coming from the palace of Oni Baasi features traditional rulers, political stalwarts, government functionaries, traders and eminent sons and daughters of Baasi land, home and abroad.
While speaking, the monarch,Oba Dr Sunday Azeez Babatunde Asunmo Modele said the festival Ojude Oba, Tobalase 1 serves as avenue of unity and symbol of unity of purpose for Baasi indigenes to interact and share views on issues of concern.
Oba Sunday stressed that Ojude Oba festival was designed for the development of Baasi land.
He admonished invited guests and lovers of Baasi town including market men and women to attend the programme and be punctual.
