The Onigboho of Igboho Kingdom, Oba John Oyetola Bolarinwa Olubiyi 2 Ajagungbade 1, has expressed heartfelt appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for approving the 30km Igboho-Kisi road project, describing it as a “milestone in the journey of infrastructural development” in the kingdom.
In a statement made available to this newspaper on Friday, Oba Olubiyi praised Makinde’s commitment to improving infrastructure and enhancing socio-economic wellbeing, saying the project will bring “economic growth, social integration, and overall progress” to Igboho and neighboring communities.
“We pray that Almighty God will continue to grant His Excellency the wisdom, strength, and good health to lead Oyo State to greater heights,” Oba Olubiyi said, expressing optimism about the project’s positive impact.

It is with immense joy and a sense of profound gratitude that I, Oba John Oyetola Bolarinwa Olubiyi 2 Ajagungbade 1, the ONIGBOHO of Igboho kingdom, write to express the heartfelt appreciation of the people of Igboho and the entire Igboho kingdom Traditional Council to His Excellency Engineer Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, for the approval of the 30 kilometers Igboho-Kisi road project.
This significant development is a testament to the commitment of His Excellency’s administration to improving the infrastructure and enhancing the socio-economic wellbeing of the people of Igboho and its environs. The approval of this road project is not only a milestone in the journey of infrastructural development in our beloved kingdom but also a clear demonstration of His Excellency’s dedication to serving the people of Oyo State with empathy, equity, and excellence.
The Igboho-Kisi road, spanning 30 kilometers, holds great promise for the economic growth, social integration, and overall progress of Igboho and neighboring communities. It will facilitate easier movement of people, goods, and services, open up new opportunities for trade, commerce, and agriculture, and ultimately improve the quality of life of our people.
