The Onisanbo of Ogbooro, Oba Kazeem Adegboye Adio, has urged local politicians to set their sights higher, encouraging them to contest for a National Assembly seat rather than just holding local offices. He advised them to compete strongly, prioritizing the community’s interests.
He announced this on Tuesday while addressing the gathering at the grand opening of Irepodun Omo Ogbooro’s 2025 Annual General Meeting.
Highlighting the benefits of having a representative from the community in the National Assembly,he,however,emphasized the need for fairness, equity, and justice within the federal constituency and prayed for the continued progress and success of the community’s sons and daughters.
