In a bold statement, Hon. Siju Lawal, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, has declared that only the PDP can rescue Nigeria from its current economic challenges. Lawal urged Nigerians to massively vote for the PDP in the upcoming elections, citing the party’s potential to drive economic growth and development.
According to Lawal, while the PDP faces its own internal crises, other parties, including the All Progressives Congress (APC), are grappling with even more significant challenges,emphasized that the PDP’s crises are more apparent because the party is in control of some states, implying that its governance experience has brought its internal issues to the fore.
Lawal also praised the administration of Gov. Seyi Makinde, highlighting the transparent process adopted in recent recruitment exercises. This, he said, demonstrates the PDP’s commitment to good governance and accountability.
He stated that, Makinde’s administration is transforming Oyo State’s education landscape through a comprehensive school renovation initiative. Siju Lawal praises the efforts, highlighting the provision of roofing sheets and overall improvement of learning environments.
