Oyo 2027: Adedibu Simeon declares intention to contest for National Assembly seat

Adedibu Simeon Adeyemi, an aspirant for the 2027 House of Representatives race, has declared his intention to contest under the All Progressives Congress (APC). Speaking at the APC General Meeting on Thursday in Agoamodu, Saki East Local Government, Adedibu promised to prioritize youth and women empowerment.

Ojeowode born politician and business man is eyeing the Atisbo/Saki East/Saki West Federal Constituency, which comprises Atisbo, Saki East, and Saki West Local Government Areas. This constituency is one of the 360 federal constituencies in Nigeria, and its representative plays a crucial role in shaping national policies and legislation.

Adedibu’s manifesto focuses on creating opportunities for youths to thrive and contribute to society.He also emphasized the importance of empowering women and ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
Adedibu promised to bring development to the grassroots and ensure that the dividends of democracy are enjoyed by all.

Adedibu stressed that the National Assembly is for experienced and tested personalities, highlighting his own qualifications and commitment to serving the people.

He also throwed his support behind Hon. Tajudeen Abisodun Kareem, the current Representative member for Atisbo/Saki East/Saki West Federal Constituency, for his Senatorial ambition.

The APC Chairman in Saki Saki LGA, Mr. Salawu Akeem, assured that the party will provide a level playing ground for all aspirants. This assurance is a welcome development, as it promotes fairness and merit in the electoral process.

Stakeholders at the gathering expressed their satisfaction with Adedibu’s courage and leadership qualities. They urged him to remain committed to his vision and work towards delivering dividends to his constituents.

Adedibu also expressed his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reelection bid, citing the need for continuity and stability in governance.
