Oyo 2027: APC receives boost with new entrant, Aisat Adeleke in Saki
Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC has been boosted with new member Aisat Adeleke who formally joined the party in Saki on Friday.
The declaration was made during the party’s LG General Meeting,affirming that the APC is her preferred political party.
The meeting,held at Isale-Taba,Saki was chaired by the APC LG chairman, Alh. Tajudeen Okunlola and other members of the ward and local government leaders were also in attendance.
The gathering turned out exceptionally well to the excitement of party members when the founder of Aisat Aliu Adeleke Foundation (A3) trooped in accompanied by members of her support group, were received into the party .
Aisat Adeleke’s decision to join the APC is seen as a major boost for the party, especially with the 2027 elections looming. Her influence and foundation’s work in the community could attract more supporters and strengthen the APC’s presence in Oyo State.
During the ceremony, APC leaders welcomed Aisat Adeleke and advised her to remain committed to the party. APC Local Government Chairman Alh. Tajudeen Okunlola urged her to stay with the party and contribute to its growth and success.
Aisat Adeleke expressed her enthusiasm for the APC, describing it as the “party of the moment.” She stated, “I am glad to join the APC because it is a party of the moment.” Her decision marks a new chapter in her political journey and could have far-reaching implications for Oyo State politics.
