A guber aspirant and Former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Remi Olaniyan, has called for unity among APC stakeholders, stating that “the time of PDP is over in Oyo State.” He made this statement at an event in Ogbomoso, where the APC Renewed Hope Ambassadors team, led by Senator Teslim Folarin, mobilized support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027. Olaniyan emphasized the need for unity among party members to ensure APC’s success in the state.
In a move facilitated by the Renewed Hope Ambassadors team led by Senator Teslim Folarin, party stakeholders had indicated their resolve to move round the seven geo-politcal zones and fourteen federal constituencies in the state to mobilize grassroots support for the president and the APC ahead of next year’s polls.
Speakers at the open-air meeting held at Soun Ogunlola Hall in Oja’gbo, Ogbomoso were unanimous in their call for unity and understanding among leaders and members of the APC in the state .
