Oyo : NCIA inaugurates new Excos at Saki East LG

The Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs, has inaugurated a new executive council to oversee the affairs of the Muslim community to greater heights.

The inauguration ceremony took place at the newly commissioned Secretariat of the council in Ago-Amodu, the headquarters of Saki West LGA on Sunday .

The event,which was attended by the local government functionaries, religious leaders, outgone executive and community members, marked a new chapter in the history of the Muslim community in the area.

The new executive council, which is headed by Wasiu Okesola as chairman, pledged to work tirelessly to promote the interests of the Muslims.

The outgone chairman of the Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs , Alh. Abdakeem Lawal took the opportunity to reflect on his accomplishments during his tenure. While the specific achievements mentioned the newly commissioned Secretariat of the council.

The inauguration of the new executive council has been widely welcomed by the Muslim community, who see it as a positive step towards promoting their interests and addressing their challenges.
