Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and 2027 gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State, Barr. Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, has expressed deep appreciation to the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Owoade, for the royal appointment and turbanning of Shaykh Bilal Husayn Akinola Akeugberu as the new Chief Imam of Oyo Kingdom.
In a message, Barr. Akeem Agbaje described the Kabiyesiโs decision as a profound service to the spiritual life of Oyo Kingdom, noting that the revered throne has once again demonstrated its commitment to nurturing harmony between tradition and faith.
He commended Alaafin for upholding the longstanding relationship between the palace and the religious community, adding that such leadership strengthens the moral foundation of the kingdom.

Barr.
