Oyo :PDP chieftain, Ayobami Ojo presents motorcycles to enhance local security

To consolidate the ATISBO LG administration’s avowed commitment to combating crimes and fight against the criminal elements terrorizing residents, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Oyo State, Ayobami Ojo, Esq.,has handed over two motorcycles to the Amotekun Corps in the main council and the LCDA.

The exercise, which took place on Thursday was part of activities lined up to mark Hon. Bashir Olumuyiwa Alade- led administration’s 100 days in office, Ojo states it would ensure effective surveillance and curb attacks in the rural communities.

Speaking further,Ojo expressed gratitude to all security agencies and the gatekeepers for their relentless efforts to secure the area from the activities of criminals.

He maintained that ,the two motorcycles were provided as working tools to support the administration’s continued support to security forces in the area,reiterating the LG administration’s avowed commitment to the safety and security of the area as demonstrated by building security posts to mark 100 days in office.

“I take this giant step in our collective efforts at enhancing the security and well-being of our people and this is just a tip of the iceberg, one for the main council and the other for the LCDA “

He noted that ,provision of the motorcycles will undoubtedly bolster the operational readiness, enhance the mobility, and further strengthen the capacity to safeguard the security of the area against the menace of evil dwellers.

Ojo further charged security agencies to rededicate themselves to the noble cause of defending the people of the area.
