The House Committee on Aviation Technology, chaired by Hon. Tajudeen Kareem Abisodun, held a public hearing on a bill to establish the African Aviation and Aerospace University in Abuja. According to Hon. Abisodun, “The proposed University is expected to promote research, training, and innovation in aviation and aerospace technology across Africa, thereby advancing Nigeria’s leadership in the sector.” He emphasized the Committee’s commitment to ensuring that the final outcome of the bill reflects the collective aspirations of stakeholders and contributes meaningfully to national development.
The public hearing brought together key stakeholders from the aviation and education sectors, including representatives from relevant government agencies, industry experts, and institutions.
