In a strategic move to consolidate its grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 general elections, former Local Government Chairman and Renew Hope Ambassador for Ibarapa East, Hon. Yunus Lanre Olaoseegba, today, performed the official inauguration of the Renew Hope Ward Ambassadors for Ibarapa East Local Government.
The colorful event took place at the Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ibarapa East chapter, along Sanngo – Orita road.
The ceremony which commenced at around 11 am, brought together a broad spectrum of party stakeholders, reflecting unity, cohesion and renewed political vigor amongst party faithfuls.
Present at the event were the APC Chairman in Ibarapa East, Comrade Dele Beelolari, and members of the Local Government Executive Council, Ward Chairmen, and other key party functionaries.
The gathering also witnessed the presence of respected party Leaders, including Chief T. A. Jolaoso and Elder Dayo Adesola, whose longstanding contributions to the growth of the party has continued to command admiration across the political landscape.
The event further attracted notable political figures and aspirants, either in person or through their representatives.
They include Engr. Ramon Abiodun, Mr. Samin Adebare Adedeji, Alhaji Lukmon Atunwa, and Tpl Dr. Samuel Adesokan, Mr. Sodiq Egbetokub, Hon. Moses Kolawole, Hon.Babs and others, signaling a shared commitment among emerging Leaders to the party’s collective success.
In his address, Hon. Olaosegba charged the newly inaugurated Ward Ambassadors to embrace their responsibilities with dedication and strategic focus.
He emphasized the critical roles of grassroots engagements in electoral success, urging them to serve as active mobilizers, communicators of party ideals, and custodians of the Renew Hope Agenda at the ward level.
He noted that the journey towards 2027 require discipline, unity, and sustained engagements with the public, stressing that victory at the polls would be determined not just by rhetorics, but also , through consistent presence and performance within communities.
Party elders who spoke at the event reinforced the call for cohesion and unwavering loyalty to the party’s ideals.
They encouraged both the Ambassadors and Aspirants to prioritize collective progress over individual ambitions, highlighting the importance of synergy in achieving electoral dominance.
The inauguration marks a significant step in APC’s ongoing efforts to deepen its grassroots structure in Ibarapa East, positioning the party for a more coordinated and impactful campaign cycle, with a reinvigorated base and a clear sense of direction.
