Popular Fuji Musician, Taye Currency, Loses ₦10 Million to CBEX

Popular Fuji musician, Taye Currency, has disclosed how he lost ₦10 million, which he invested in the CBEX Ponzi scheme.

The Fuji star, during a stage performance, revealed that some friends introduced the scheme to him on the 1st of April.

He added that he invested ₦10 million from his insurance account into CBEX.

Mentioning their names — Sodiq, Small London (Alaba), Lati, and Boda Muba — the Fuji star publicly placed a curse on them for misleading him into the scheme, which resulted in his financial loss.

Many Nigerians who invested their life savings into the scheme are still grappling with their losses after CBEX crashed, allegedly wiping out over ₦1.3 trillion from individual accounts.

Financial experts and concerned Nigerians have continued to react to the widespread scam, describing it as greed on the part of Nigerians who, in a bid to make quick money, involved themselves in the fraudulent scheme.

This is not the first time Nigerians have fallen victim to such schemes, as several Ponzi operations have made their way through the country, swindling innocent citizens of their hard-earned money.
