Oyo APC Renewed Hope Ambassadors commenced a Constituency tour on Monday at the late Oba Adeyemi mini stadium in Atiba local Government, Oyo.
The well attended program had in attendance a former Senate Leader and Oyo state Renewed Hope Ambassador, Teslim Folarin, Minister for Power, Bayo Adelabu, former First Lady and newly confirmed Ambassador Chief Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, Senators, members of the House of Representatives elected under the APC and eminent party Leaders and stakeholders.

Today in Oyo APC, things keep getting better.
The once sleeping giant has been reawakened.
The outcome of the 2023 gubernatorial and House of Assembly election in Oyo state dealt a terrible blow on the morale of Leaders, stakeholders and ordinary members of the Progressives family in Oyo state.
The results of the election was devastating.
The APC not only lost the gubernatorial election with a wide margin, APC also only managed to win just 4 out of the 32 seats in the House of Assembly.
It was a crushing defeat, no arguments.
As a result of the devastating but unexpected defeat, everyone went AWOL.
The APC in Oyo state was momentarily in dissaray.
Things completely fell apart and the center could not hold.
In the midst of that chaos, someone had an inspiration to try and push for the mending of fences with a view to rebuilding the collapsed structure.
He started the move on his own but later discovered that he needed to invite others to join in the movement to restore peace within Oyo APC.
As a result of this, Prince Niran Adeyoju, popularly known as SDM convened the Group that is today known as the Oyo state APC Peace Advocates.
To their credit, Oyo APC Peace Advocates commenced peace initiatives which is aimed at bringing together individuals and Groups within Oyo APC.
They met separately with party Leaders, stakeholders, Elders, appointed and elected officials within the Party.
Not only that, the Group met with the Chairman of Oyo APC, Alhaji Olayide Moshood Abass, the state Executive committee and an enlarged state Executive committee of Oyo APC.
Having succeeded in preaching the message of peace and cohesion at those levels, the APC Peace Advocates proceeded to meet with party Leadership and organs at the Zonal levels.
They met with party organs at Oke-Ogun, Ibarapa, Oyo, Ogbomosho, Ibadan outer city and Ibadan main city.
Having also succeeded in preaching the messages of peace and unity across the zones of Oyo state, the Group, together with critical Stakeholders and the Oyo state Executive committee of the APC organized a well attended Leadership Summit in October this year.
The Summit brought together all tendencies within Oyo APC for the first time after the 2023 electoral loss.
At the Summit, salient issues concerning the enthroning of lasting peace were discussed and the agreements reached were put out through a Communique.
Since that Summit in October, a flurry of positive changes has been noticed within Oyo APC.
Oyo APC Youths have also held another very successful Summit, drawing from the experience of Leadership Summit.
A fresh wind of change has continued to blow within the Party.
The Peace Advocates, I must say, have been maintaining neutrality.
The Group are not fronting for any aspirant to any elective office.
Their activities are self financed through personal sacrifices.
The Group consists of individuals with proven records of integrity.

The roles played by the Oyo APC Peace Advocates in the reawakening and sustenance of the new found peace within Oyo APC can not be overemphasized.
The Group is not relenting on its efforts to see that Oyo APC reclaims the Agodi Government House from the PDP in 2027.
They have continued to engage and consult with critical Stakeholders to ensure that Oyo APC is on the right path to deliver maximally in 2027.
