PYF Pens Tribute to Chief Michael Koleoso, Describes Late Patron as Towering Progressive Man

Members of Progressive Yes Forum(PYF) in Oyo State , have paid last respects to their late patron, Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleoso as he transited to eternal glory.

Late Koleoso who until his death, the Babalaje of Sakiland, was described as a towering progressive man, in a tribute jointly signed by PYF Chairman, Comrade Wole Abioye and Secretary, Engr. Fawole Taiwo G, as Comrade Olabode Tunde made it available to news men.

According to the tribute, ” we gather with heavy hearts. Progressives, mourners, Oyo State, the nation at large.
Chief Michael Koleoso, our giant, has departed.
His footsteps -silent, yet louder than drums, have now stilled”.

” He was not just a man.
But a pillar holding the sky for the common people.
A living testament to justice, equity.
To the unwavering principles of progress”.

“With hands strong but heart soft.
He stood with Alhaji Lam Adesona,
They nurtured us, the PYF.
Guiding us as a father guides his child.
With wisdom, with purpose.
Ensuring the justice was not just a dream but a path.
And equity, a reality for all”.

“Oh!, Chief Koleoso.
The guardian of Awolowo’s sacred vision.
You walked the soil of Oyo State.
With silent power, with unshakeable humility.
Carring the hopes of a better tomorrow.
In your every word, your every step”.

” Now, we are left with a void so vast.
But also with a legacy so bright it lights our way.
It is our turn to carry the torch you held so high.
To walk the paths you deared.
To fights the battles you won.
For justice, for equity, for the common man”.

” Rest well, Chief Michael Koleoso.
Your life’s work is etched in time.
Your spirit, for ever guiding us.
A towering progressive, gone but never forgotten”, PYF asserted.

The erstwhile Progressive Youth Forum was said to have established in 1998, under the leadership of Comrade Wole Abioye during the struggle against the military rule and Babalaje of Saki as the Patron. The PYF is known as Progressive Yes Forum whose members across the state thronged the ancient town of Saki to pay their respects to their patron.
