Rainstorms: Olaniyan Empathizes with Oorelope Community

 

Oyo state former deputy governor and 2027 gubernatorial hopeful, Engr. Rauf Aderemi Olaniyan, has made a statement of empathy to all affected families and businesses in the rainstorm that raged havoc and heavy destruction in the community, leaving a lot of people homeless and devastated. The event that took place on the evening of Tuesday, 8th July, 2025, was reported as never been witnessed before in the community.

Many houses were destroyed, school rooftops removed, shops, worship centres, trees, farm plants, electricity installations, as well as telecommunications infrastructures, were all damaged and the rainstorm left the people in pains and agony.

Engr. Olaniyan said in the statement that it was one event in which supremacy of God and nature over man has come to re-echo and pray for God almighty to bless all affected with grace to rebuild and restore. He called for support from well meaning Nigerians, concerned citizens as well as state government and the Federal Government.
